A largely hairless companion that needs careful indoor temperature management and regular skin attention.

Care

Provide secure indoor living, scratching surfaces, hiding places, separate food and litter areas, and daily play. Introduce new animals gradually. Keep water available and rooms comfortably cooled without exposing the cat to extreme temperature changes. Ask a veterinarian about diet, vaccinations and parasite prevention.

Welfare

Protect from sunburn, cold and overheating. Ask a veterinarian about appropriate skin cleaning and cardiac screening; hairlessness does not mean allergen-free.
