Care
Provide secure indoor living, scratching surfaces, hiding places, separate food and litter areas, and daily play. Introduce new animals gradually. Keep water available and rooms comfortably cooled without exposing the cat to extreme temperature changes. Ask a veterinarian about diet, vaccinations and parasite prevention.
Welfare
Comb the silky coat and provide secure elevated areas. White blue-eyed cats can have inherited deafness; ask for an individual hearing assessment when relevant.
