Temperament

A small companion with a silky coat that often enjoys close human contact and short play sessions.

Care

Use reward-based training and gradual socialisation. Supervise contact with children and match exercise to age and health. Keep fresh water available, live indoors with effective cooling, walk only in cooler hours and never leave an animal in a parked vehicle. Discuss preventive care and feeding portions with a veterinarian.

Welfare

Prevent coat tangles with frequent combing. Tear staining requires gentle cleaning, not unprescribed medication; regular dental care is important.
