Care
Use reward-based training and gradual socialisation. Supervise contact with children and match exercise to age and health. Keep fresh water available, live indoors with effective cooling, walk only in cooler hours and never leave an animal in a parked vehicle. Discuss preventive care and feeding portions with a veterinarian.
Welfare
Brush the dense double coat gently down to the undercoat. Avoid routine close shaving and seek veterinary advice for coughing, dental problems or slipping kneecaps.
