Choosing an Appropriate Bird Cage
Select an enclosure for the exact species and number of compatible birds. Horizontal flight space often matters more than decorative height. Bar spacing must prevent head entrapment, and materials must resist chewing without toxic coatings. Position perches so food and water are not contaminated by droppings. A cage does not replace safe exercise and enrichment.
