Understanding Bird Health and Veterinary Care
Birds may conceal illness, making subtle changes in appetite, activity and droppings important. Establish a relationship with an avian veterinarian before problems arise. Keep identification, origin and examination records together. Do not give human medicines or antibiotics without veterinary direction. Sudden breathing difficulty, collapse or inability to perch warrants urgent attention.
This is general educational guidance, not individual veterinary or legal advice. Ask a qualified veterinarian about your animal's needs. Availability, legal eligibility and delivery arrangements must be verified separately.
