Preparing Your Home for a New Kitten
Start with one quiet room containing a hiding place, scratching surface, water and a litter tray away from food. Secure window screens and remove lilies, loose thread and unsafe cleaning products. Let the kitten approach at its own pace. Introduce existing pets through scent and controlled short meetings, never an immediate forced encounter.
