Responsible Ownership and Wildlife Protection
Do not acquire wild-caught birds or rely on a seller's verbal claim of captive breeding. Check species identification, lawful origin and permits with the relevant authorities. CITES requirements and domestic restrictions can differ; documentation must match the individual animal. Never release a companion bird outdoors. Plan lifelong care, including what happens if you can no longer keep it.
This is general educational guidance, not individual veterinary or legal advice. Ask a qualified veterinarian about your animal's needs. Availability, legal eligibility and delivery arrangements must be verified separately.
